My mother was reluctant at first to enter an assisted living facility. I chose Waltonwood Cotswold and I am overjoyed that I did! Jaynie Segal and her team have been the absolute best people to work with. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their residents really shows every day. Close to three years later, my mom has found herself right at home and at ease. She is always busy with an activity or on the way to one of the many things to do at Waltonwood. It has almost been a year since my sister and I moved my Mom from her home to an apartment at WaltonWood Cotswold in memory care. Not to go overboard but this retirement community is like a heaven on earth for our Mom. She has a great apartment with her own furniture with lots of pictures of family and friends. She uses a cane to walk and is extremely mobile for someone 94 years of age. She walks around the hallways and sometimes participates in activities and sometimes just relaxes in her apartment. She always tells me how very nice everyone is to her. I agree. The staff who works there is incredible. From the people who staff the concierge, to the director and his staff, to the staff who works directly with the residents – they are always friendly and willing to help in any way. If there is ever a concern about my Mom someone will call me and let me know what is going on. They listen to suggestions I might have as well as give me ideas of what might be good for her. It’s just a fabulous place for senior people to call home. When we first made the decision to move Mom I didn’t know what the future would hold. The future has given us a safe, comfortable, and very pleasant place for my Mom to live as she deals with memory loss and aging. Another thing – I remember when I first came to WaltonWood Cotswold to take a tour and see if this place was right for my Mom – it maybe took five minutes for me to know this was the place. I had visited some other communities but WaltonWood was different. The hospitality you feel when you walk in is very special. I was introduced to people that were kind and caring about my wants and needs for my Mom. It clearly stood out from the other communities I had visited. WaltonWood Cotswold has a special warmth about it. It is a wonderful retirement community that offers the very best care for its residents in a beautiful and calm environment. It is a very special place. I am grateful to WaltonWood Cotswold for giving me and my sister the peace of mind knowing my Mom is safe, cared for, and happy living there.

As tough as it is to spend time with a loved one in memory care, the Staff at Waltonwood are always so pleasant and engaging. Jaynie was the first person we met there, and she has always been incredibly caring and supportive. The front door staff are always friendly and helpful when needed. The activities staff are wonderful and encouraging with the residents. Tiffany, the Wellness Coordinator has gone above and beyond with communication and care.

Waltonwood Cotswold continues to be an outstanding and caring community for my Mom after her April move in. Our continuing visits and daily interactions with Jaynie Segal and the staff are outstanding, and have confirmed that we made the right choice. Jaynie leads you through the process of becoming a member of the Waltonwood family, and her warm and personable approach continues on a daily basis. She also welcomes and greets all residents and family members by name! The staff are genuine and caring people in their daily interactions with the residents and their families. Mom refers to her care givers as “Angels”, and indeed they are! If you are seeking peace of mind and caring community for your aging parent, I would recommend Waltonwood!

We moved my mom to Waltonwood about a month ago. We have been impressed with the her clean and well designed living quarters. That, along with a wonderful dining environment and a wide variety of exceptional meals makes Waltonwood a wonderful choice for our mom. But most importantly the staff and support team are what pushes Waltonwood over the top of 5 star for their care and personal service. As her son, it gives me a since of comfort to know that my mom is being cared for by a team of friendly, well trained, professional and competent staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. My hats off to all of the team at Waltonwood.
