I cannot say enough accolades about the amazing “Jimmy” ex- councilman of Georgia..He mastered the art of and patience of hanging my oil paintings in just the right spot..He never wavered at my wondering does this look better left or right! Always calm measuring, making sure of precise placement..He deserves a medal for an amazing job in my new apartment! Thank you Jimmy!!

I attended A Taste of Waltonwood today. The food was excellent. This is a top notch community for anyone considering Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care. The community is clean, staff are attentive and the executive director, Mark is readily available. Waltonwood Is a top notch community!

In honor of my Grandfather who’s health is declining, my fiancé (now husband) & I decided to drive down from VA to Raleigh to have an intimate wedding ceremony for my Grandparents who are residents at Waltonwood. Awkwardly, I called Waltonwood to ask for permission to hold this very small & intimate ceremony at the resort to make it easier for my Grandparents/Gfather to attend. Not only did Waltonwood grant me permission, but Christina and her team went out of their way to make the ceremony beautiful & custom. The grounds had a fountain flowing with water & string lights across the pergola, they had a stand with microphone for our pastor, had their in-house pastry chef bake us a 3 tier wedding cake, they gave us three table tops with linens in royal blue (my colors) to hold all things wedding & a bottle of Prosecco to end the event. Between set up, pictures, videos, celebrating & then clean up, I was seriously blown away by their hospitality & genuine excitement to do this for my family. I am beyond grateful that, not only do I have them to thank for a lifelong memory I will cherish, but I know without a doubt that they cherish my Grandparents & don’t look at them as just a resident, but also family. THANK YOU Christina and the Waltonwood Team!

Our Pastry Chef Ashley can bake anything! Pies, cakes, brownies, cookies, muffins, and more in all flavors. My favorites are her creme br˚lÈe and coconut cream pie. My husband Doug has never met an Ashley dessert that he didnít like. Keep up the good work, Ashley!

My husband and I plan to sell our home and downsize to a senior community in the next few years. We have visited many options in Central North Carolina. Our experience when visiting Waltonwood Lake Boone was very positive. The apartments are lovely with the appropriate space and design which we have in mind. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. We do not require assisted living at this time but we toured this area and found it to be among the best we have found. The location is very convenient for access to our friends in North Raleigh and the downtown area.

Gene, our new Culinary Supervisor, is the best! He cooks savory dishes and enjoys his work. He obviously likes the residents and shows it in many ways. Geneís daily weekday lunch specials are very popular. It is hard find tastier potato and egg salad than Geneís. We are glad you are here at WLB, Gene!

My mother is, I believe, the oldest resident at Waltonwood-Lake Boone and has been here since opening. I cannot say enough about the staff. They are caring, compassionate, and very creative! Our FaceTime calls have been invaluable.
