Waltonwood Royal Oak was a blessing to my mom, myself and my family as she healed from surgery. I can’t say enough good things about the ENTIRE staff at Waltonwood…they are excellent, beyond measure.

From the moment we met the team at Waltonwood, we knew it was the right place for our mom. All the hopes that we had were fulfilled. My mom was shown kindness, care and treated with dignity by every staff member she encountered. As a family, we came to know the staff and residents and became part of a warm and welcoming community. I slept better at night knowing my Mom was safe and cared for by the Waltonwood team. There is little more you can ask for when you have to place your trust in others to care for someone you love.

I stopped by to see a friend who just moved in to Waltonwood in Royal Oak. My mother-in-law was there a while back and we loved it then. I can say it’s even more beautiful now and my friend is so happy there. She enjoys all the activities. The staff are very friendly and they really seem to care for the residents. It’s like they’re friends! I highly recommend this to anyone considering this type of living situation.

I have truly enjoyed working here at Waltonwood Royal Oak. I’ve never seen such attentive and caring staff. The servers, housekeepers, and the caregivers have such respect for the residents. They treat them as their own. It is so refreshing to see the love and care they have for the residents.

I have been working here for 9 years, and have enjoyed every minute of it. The community almost feels like a second home to me. All of the residents are very friendly and treat me like family. I live close by, and whenever I drive by the community It brings a smile cause I am pleased to be working here.

Mom has been a resident of Waltonwood Royal Oak for nearly two years, and itís been a great experience for her and us, her kids. The staff is caring, professional and wonderful and all momís needs are met. The food is great, and mom really enjoys the resident activities. The staff even found ways to keep the residents entertained during COVID lockdown. Mom is happy at Waltonwood, and we know sheís safe. It doesnít get better than that!

I love working at WRO for 20 plus years taking care of the residents and the needs. My coworkers are warm and supportive which makes the residents and family members feel as if they are at home. This is my second home.

Are you considering moving into a new living arrangement? I did, about three years ago. And I am so happy I chose Waltonwood in Royal Oak. I wasn’t preparing very health meals, but I found my answer here at waltonwood. Even with the restrictions on being close to each other, we have so much fun. We have satisfying complete meals in our lovely dining room. There are activities galore, like exercising, meditation assistance, bingo games, craft projects, coffee klatches, puzzle building, mail deliveries and just talking to each other. You can buzz the staff anytime and your needs are met with lots of joy and satisfaction. Shall I go on? Any who, I love living here, and know you will too. Come join us!! Carole H

When your resident Julia Weeks notified the Waltonwood staff that her local family, Oregon relatives and nephew from Germany would be gathering with her April 30th and May 1st, a family reunion to celebrate the life of her deceased husband and the gift of family ties, the Waltonwood response was beautifully gracious and hospitable! Our family gathering was very important to us, and we felt welcome and wonderfully accommodated for our festivities at Waltonwood. Kind and caring staff, delicious meals in the family dining room decorated with gorgeous bouquets and leaflets at each place noting our Celebration of Life focus for our reunion, enriched our gathering. Donyel made sure that the media room was available and arranged for our family video viewing as we reviewed precious memories during our evening together. The caregivers were sensitive to our needs and offered kind support during our stay. Thank you for providing kind and caring support for our family reunion. Such a great place to be. Friendly staff, beginning from entry, concierges are welcoming and kind. Management is very attentive to the needs of the residents and staff. There are plenty of fun activities for the residents. Beautiful environment, building is always clean and neat. All around great place to be.

I am a new resident at Waltonwood Royal Oak since September, 2021. I am a very happy person since I came to Waltonwood. The staff is very helpful, they know your name and always speak when passing. The residents are well protected and feel very secure here. All services are wonderful. You can participate or not, but the community living is so active that you find your calendar very full as time goes by. I found all my stress relieved right away. The transportation is wonderful to where your needs outside of the community are met. The dinning room is great and staff comes to know your likes and dislikes. Pleasant room with white table clothes and fresh flowers on each table. I love it here and intend to be here until my dying day. The move was made smooth and was all wonderful.
